A Warm Hello on Two Wheels

The new challenge at DRAGONFLY DREAMS is "masculine".

For this card, I combined a rustic woodgrain background with a bold motorcycle silhouette to create a design that's both masculine and stylish. The rich wood texture adds warmth and character, while the black die-cut motorcycle provides a striking contrast against the background.

To complete the design, I added a large flowing "hello" sentiment that brings a friendly and welcoming touch. The simple color palette allows the focal elements to shine, making this card perfect for a motorcycle enthusiast or anyone who enjoys a clean, modern look.

I love the combination of rustic and contemporary elements.

Sometimes a simple greeting is all you need, and this card says it with plenty of personality !

Chasing Dreams Through the Trees

The new challenge at DRAGONFLY DREAMS is "use diecuts".

For this card, I played with layered die cuts to create a whimsical outdoor scene. I wanted it to feel light, free, and full of possibility, so I built up a soft sky background and framed it with delicate tree silhouettes.

The focal point is the pair of girls, captured mid-motion as they run hand in hand through the grass. Their silhouettes add a playful, almost nostalgic feel, while the dimensional layers give the scene depth and life. I finished it off with a simple sentiment, “Discover Yourself” which perfectly matches the sense of adventure and self-discovery the card represents.

I love how die cutting allows you to tell a story just through shapes and layers—no coloring needed! This design would work beautifully for encouragement and friendship.

Clean, Crisp & Thankful

The challenge at DRAGONFLY DREAMS is "CAS-Clean and Simple".

My card is all about letting simplicity shine. I created a clean and open background using a bold teal cardstock, which really allows the focal point to stand out. The soft pink flower adds a lovely pop of color and a touch of dimension, while the subtle twine detail brings in just a hint of texture without overwhelming the design.

I love how the small patterned strip along the bottom grounds the card and adds just enough interest to keep things playful. The rounded panel behind the flower softens the overall look and ties the colors together beautifully.

Sometimes less really is more, and this card is a perfect reminder that a few well-chosen elements can make a big impact!

My card feels like a little burst of sunshine, don't you think?  The yellows and oranges of the butterfly tones add life and motion, making the whole design feel uplifting and encouraging. It’s a sweet reminder that dreams are meant to be chased — boldly and beautifully.
