Sweet Girl, Sweet Memories

Today I created a scrapbook layout featuring our sweet Lexi and a special Christmas memory from 2014. Looking back at these photos brought back so many happy memories of our beautiful girl.

I kept the layout bright and festive with cheerful Christmas colors, patterned papers, layered photo mats, and a playful “Sweet Girl” title. Sometimes the older photos are the ones that make the sweetest scrapbook pages—and this one was definitely a joy to create.

Lexi-Forever Loved, Forever Missed

For this scrapbook layout, I wanted to create a special tribute to our beloved Lexi. These photos capture some of the precious moments we shared together on her final good-bye day, surrounded by her loved ones.

I chose a soft pink background and heart embellishments to represent the love that Lexi brought into our lives every single day. Each heart highlights a special quality that made her who she was—loyal, treasured, faithful, cherished, adored and remembered. The title, "Lexi, In Our Hearts Forever" reflects exactly how we feel. While we said our good-byes to her that day and she is no longer with us, the memories we made and the joy she gave us will stay with us forever. We speak her name EVERY day.

Creating this page was both emotional and comforting. It gave me a chance to celebrate Lexi's life and preserve these treasured memories with Austin.

Our sweet girl may be gone, but she will always, always, always hold a special place in our hearts.

Rooted in Love: Remembering Lexi, Celebrating Zoe

This layout is very close to my heart. It features a photo of sweet Zoe sitting beside the tree we planted in memory of our beloved Lexi. Watching this tree grow over time feels like a living tribute—full of love, memories, and connection.

I chose warm, earthy tones and a cozy plaid pattern to reflect the feeling of comfort and remembrance. The layers and soft textures help ground the design, much like the roots of the tree itself.

The hidden journaling is tucked into the pocket. It holds personal thoughts and memories. I love how hidden journaling allows us to include deeper emotions without overwhelming the visual design.

The title, “Lexi’s Tree” says it simply, but holds so much meaning. This page is a reminder that love never really leaves us—it just grows in new ways.

The new challenge at Challenge YOUrself is "what's your favorite quote?"

I have many quotes that are favorites but I decided to choose a quote about dogs. I was thinking "Happiness is a Warm Puppy" first but I found this and decided to use this one.

Our Lexi went over the Rainbow Bridge in July and we were devastated and didn't think we'd be able to get over her. She was a part of our life for almost 13 years. We decided to get another cutie and she is a joy! Zoe is 5 1/2 months old now.

Doggy and Jack-o-Lantern (Cut It Up)

I took inspiration from my 2 favorite pups!!! My Lexi and Zoe.

The challenge at {PIN}spirational this month is "birthday and animals" I chose to make a card with dogs on it.

Speaking of dogs, we had to put our sweet Lexi down on July 10th and our hearts were broken!!! She almost made it to 13 years old.

This was taken on her last day with us. She is now waiting for us at the Rainbow Bridge.

The devastation was too hard to even bear that we decided to get another puppy to help us. Meet Zoe!

She is so cute and has been a Godsend to us!

Lexi's Ornament

I made an ornament with LEXI, our dog's name on it and added some of her fur and, of course, glitter!! I used the Cricut to cut the letters on vinyl and stuck them to the ornament.
