☕๐Ÿ‚Pumpkins, Leaves & Sweater Weather ๐Ÿ‚☕

I’ve been in the mood for all things cozy and fall-inspired as I can feel Autumn in the air already here in Newfoundland. I decided to create this “Sweater Weather” card using my Cricut.

I designed the card around a big cozy cup, then added a warm knitted sweater with a little pumpkin detail. I finished the design with some whipped cream and layered Autumn leaves peeking out from behind the cup.

Nothing says Fall quite like sweater weather, a warm drink, and a few colorful leaves!

๐Ÿ‚๐ŸHello Fall, Hello Sweater Weather!๐Ÿ๐Ÿ‚

Sweater Weather is Here !

There’s something about Autumn that makes me want to reach for cozy sweaters, warm drinks, and beautiful Fall colors ! For this card, I wanted to capture that cozy “sweater weather” feeling.

I used a sweater-inspired embossed background to add lots of texture and dimension, then added a simple layered leaf embellishment in rich autumn colors. The “Sweater Weather” sentiment was the perfect finishing touch.

Sometimes a simple design with a few carefully chosen details is all you need to create that warm and cozy Fall feeling.

๐Ÿงœ‍♀️๐Ÿ“–Between the Pages & Under the Sea๐Ÿ“–๐Ÿงœ‍♀️

Look at how sweet this cute mermaid bookmark is ! I went with a soft pink and aqua color combination and added sparkle to the stars for a little extra magic. The adorable mermaid reading her book was the perfect focal point, and I finished it with the sentiment "Dive Into Stories" The pink-and-white twine adds a fun finishing touch and makes it easy to slip between the pages of a favorite book. Who wouldn’t love to dive into a good story with this little mermaid along for the adventure?

✏️A Pencil Full of Wishes✏️

It’s hard to believe that summer will soon be coming to an end and it will be time for the kids to head back to school !

I made these fun pencil-shaped cards for my daycare afterschoolers who will be starting back to school in September. I personalized each card especially for them, making each one a little reminder that I’m thinking of them as they begin another school year.

The bright yellow pencil, pink eraser, and fun details make this card perfect for celebrating a fresh start. Inside, I added the sentiment “Wishing you a wonderful school year”.

I hope these little cards put a smile on their faces and help make the first day of school a little more special !

☀️๐Ÿ๐ŸŒปBee Happy, Bee Sunny!๐ŸŒป๐Ÿ☀️

I had so much fun today creating this cheerful card with my Cricut ! I combined bright yellow sunflowers with fresh green leaves, a cute little bee, and a black-and-white plaid accent for a fun country-inspired look. The honeycomb embossing adds some wonderful texture to the background, while the pops of yellow bring everything to life.

I love how the bold sunflower takes center stage and the sentiment, “Wishing you Sunshine Today” adds the perfect finishing touch.

A little sunshine, a little creativity, and a whole lot of Cricut fun!

Materials-cardstock, plaid and sentiment is print and cut from Cricut, honeycomb embossing folder (gift from crafting friend), distressing ink (Ranger Ink)

Beachy Christmas Wishes

Who says Christmas has to be cold and snowy ? For this card, I decided to bring a little Christmas cheer to the beach!

I created this fun beach-themed Christmas scene featuring a cheerful sand-snowman enjoying a little sunshine while sporting his Santa hat and a festive lei. The soft beach background gives the card a relaxed tropical feel, while the bright colors add plenty of holiday fun.

My favorite part is the use of real seashells as embellishments. I love adding natural elements to my cards, and the shells are the perfect finishing touch for this seaside Christmas design.

The inside sentiment says, “Christmas is Better at the Beach” and I think this little sand-snowman would definitely agree !

A little sunshine, a little sand, and a whole lot of Christmas cheer!

A Little Texture, A Lot of Christmas

The new challenge is posted at FARM QUEST COUNTRY CHRISTMAS. It's "always anything Christmas/Holiday related with a country/outdoor/rural feel".

I had fun creating this festive Christmas card using my Cricut ! I used my Cricut to cut the three larger Christmas trees and then added texture with three different embossing folders to mimic the fun patterns found in the background paper.

I chose a simple red, green, white, and grey color palette and added a soft ribbon and bow for a little extra texture. The Celebrate the Season sentiment was the perfect finishing touch.

I really like how the embossed trees add dimension and make each tree look a little different. It's a simple design, but all those little details help bring the card to life !

☕๐ŸคŽFueled by Coffee๐ŸคŽ☕

The August challenge is posted at FIRST CUP CHALLENGES. It's "always anything with or about a beverage on it."

Coffee and crafting go hand in hand, so I couldn't resist creating this fun coffee-themed card with my Cricut !

I created a mug shaped card with whipped cream and topped with a cinnamon stick, making it look like the perfect cozy drink to enjoy on a chilly morning. I used patterned paper for the mug to add a little extra interest while keeping the design clean and simple.

The bold sentiment, "More Coffee" says it all ! Whether you're a coffee enthusiast or know someone who can't get through the day without their favorite brew, this card is sure to make them smile.

One of my favorite things about crafting with my Cricut is creating layered die-cut designs that add depth and personality to a project. This card came together quickly, but the dimensional layers give it a fun, eye-catching look.

This design would be perfect for a birthday, a thank-you card, an encouragement card, or just a little surprise for the coffee lover in your life. Sometimes, all you need is a kind word... and one more cup of coffee !

⛵ Sailing Into a Good Book ⛵

The challenge for PAPER ROCKS SCISSORS is posted and it's "always anything goes as long as you use paper and/or scissors".

Here's my project. I used cardstock and I cut the twine with scissors.

There's something so peaceful about sailboats drifting across calm waters, and I wanted to capture that feeling in this handmade bookmark. Using shades of blue, crisp white cardstock, and a simple layered design, I created a bookmark that's both elegant and practical.

The sailboats and fluffy clouds give it a relaxing coastal feel, while the navy border adds a nice pop of contrast. I finished it with baker's twine, making it easy to find your place in your favorite book.

Handmade bookmarks make thoughtful gifts for readers, teachers, book club friends, or anyone who appreciates a little handmade touch. Every time they open their book, they'll be reminded to slow down, relax, and enjoy the journey—just like a sailboat gliding across the water.

A Sweet Taste of Summer

Hearts Quest for Shaped Cards and Tags August challenge is posted. It's "always anything goes with a shaped card or tag".

I chose a vibrant pink tag as the base and topped it with a fun "Hello Summer" design featuring colorful popsicles that instantly bring thoughts of sunny afternoons and frozen treats. The playful image is full of bright colors that capture the joy and excitement of the season.

To add a little extra texture, I threaded a soft white fuzzy trim through the top of the tag, giving it a fun finishing touch. Whether it's attached to a gift bag, tied around a summer-themed present, or used as a decorative embellishment, this tag is sure to bring a smile to someone's face.

I love creating tags because they're quick to make and can add a handmade touch to so many different projects. This one reminds me of all the little things that make summer special—ice pops, warm sunshine, laughter, and making memories with family and friends.

I hope this colorful tag inspires you to add a splash of summer to your own crafting. After all, every gift is a little sweeter with a handmade tag !

๐Ÿ☀️ Cheers to Summer! ๐ŸŒบ๐Ÿน

Hearts Quest for Shaped Cards and Tags August challenge is posted. It's "always anything goes with a shaped card or tag".

Nothing says Summer quite like a tropical drink served in a pineapple ! I had so much fun creating this cheerful card with my Cricut, layering each piece to bring this fun Summer drink to life.

The pineapple drink is topped with a beach umbrella, a colorful straw, and a bright hibiscus flower, giving it that island vacation feel. The layered design adds dimension and makes the card pop, while the bold colors capture the warmth and excitement of sunny days.

Inside, the sentiment "Summer Vibes Only" is the perfect finishing touch. Whether it's a reminder to slow down, soak up the sunshine, or dream about your next beach getaway, this card is all about celebrating the carefree spirit of Summer.

One of my favorite things about using my Cricut is creating layered designs that look detailed but come together beautifully. This tropical card would be perfect for a birthday, a Summer party invitation, a vacation send-off, or simply to brighten someone's day with a little sunshine.

I hope this project inspires you to grab your crafting supplies, pour yourself a tropical drink, and enjoy a little creative escape. After all... Summer vibes only!

๐Ÿ‘ปHauntingly Cute Halloween Dรฉcor๐Ÿ‘ป

ANYTHING BUT A CARD challenge is posted for August, and ,as always,  it's "anything BUT a card".

Here's my creation.

Halloween is a fun time to decorate, and these little ghost wall hangings were such a fun Cricut project to create !

Using my Cricut, I cut the decorative frames, playful ghosts, and all of the Halloween accents. I chose two different backgrounds—one in classic Halloween purple with bats, spiders, and webs, and the other in bright orange featuring a dancing skeleton pattern. To give each ghost its own personality, I added a witch's hat to one while leaving the other ready to float through the night.

I love how the intricate frames give these decorations a vintage feel, while the friendly ghosts make them perfect for all ages. They're just the right size to display on a shelf, hang on a wall, or add to a Halloween gallery display.

One of the things I enjoy most about crafting with my Cricut is how easy it is to layer different shapes and papers to create dimensional projects. With just a few cuts and some fun patterned cardstock, these simple decorations came together into a pair of charming Halloween keepsakes.

I hope these little ghostly friends inspire you to add a touch of handmade Halloween fun to your home. Happy crafting—and Happy Halloween !
