Canada Day is the perfect occasion to celebrate everything that makes our country so special, and I wanted to create a card that was just as fun as the celebration itself.
Using my Cricut, I made this interactive floating centre card featuring a bold "Happy Canada Day" greeting on one side and the Canada flag on the other side.. I love how the centre panel appears to float within the frame, adding dimension and making the design interesting from every angle.
I kept the color palette simple with classic red, white, and blue cardstock to reflect the patriotic theme. The layered frames and maple leaf accents add depth while keeping the focus on the centre sentiment.
One of my favorite things about crafting with my Cricut is how easy it is to create intricate folds and perfectly cut layers. Designs like this look impressive but come together beautifully with precise cuts and a little assembly.
Whether you're celebrating with family, watching fireworks, or enjoying a backyard barbecue, I hope this card brings a smile and a little extra Canadian spirit to someone's day.
Wishing all my fellow Canadians a wonderful Canada Day filled with laughter, friendship, and celebration.

First of all, a very belated happy Canada Day to you, Deanne! I love the pride that you have for your country. Your card is really cool too. It makes me wish I had a. Cricut! I’ll have to have my daughter help me the next time I’m up there. That fold is so very fun. Thanks so much for playing along with us at Word Art Wednesday. We appreciate your participation!
