Layered with Love (and Lemons!)

The challenge at IF YOU GIVE A CRAFTER A COOKIE... is "lemony sweet"

This bright and cheerful birthday card was created using my Cricut, and I had so much fun bringing all the layers together ! I wanted a fresh, Summery feel, so I built the design around vibrant lemons, soft greenery, and sweet little daisy accents.

The Cricut made it easy to cut all the intricate pieces—from the detailed lemon slices to the layered flowers and leaves. I added a bit of sparkle to the lemons and the “Happy Birthday” sentiment to give the card some extra shine and dimension.

I love how the circular frame draws your eye right into the center, while the gingham background keeps everything feeling light and playful. This card is a perfect reminder of how versatile the Cricut can be when it comes to creating detailed, layered designs with a polished finish.
