Fun Memories!

 My dad was the guy who just had to have the latest and greatest in EVERYTHING!!! Our home had an intercom system, a built-in vacuum cleaner, a garburator and a bidet! That was in the late 70's! Friends would come over to talk to each other from opposite ends of the house, watch things get smushed in the garbage, and pee!!! Funny though, they never wanted to use the vacuum. That was left to my sister and me :O(
And, of course, even things like a Venus Fly Trap, Sea Monkeys, Jumping Beans were in our house! I had images of big ol' houseflies zooming across the room and the Venus Fly Trap snatching them out of the air, Jumping Beans dancing on my bed, and Sea Monkeys having baby Sea Monkeys. Sadly none of that happened... Venus Fly Trap died of thirst, Sea Monkeys didn't even hatch, and Jumping Beans just lay there like lumps on a log...
Oh well, he did buy us FUN things, like Silly Putty,

and a Commodore 64!!!!
