Love You Dad!

The challenge this week at TWISTED TUESDAY is {clothes make the man}. Create something for a male and show clothes is some way. Here's mine.

Thanks Dad

I totally made this card with my dad in mind. The striped shirt, it's what he ALWAYS wore (or plaid). And, of course, he always had a pencil in his pocket (along with his notebook). Being a carpenter and a cabinet-maker, he was always measuring, calculating and writing down things he needed to remember.

Sadly I haven't been able to give my dad a Father's Day card for 14 years. He died in a vehicle accident back in October of '98. But he's always with me in some way. And I miss him.

This one even more, and sadly that's the last picture that was taken of him, just a couple of days before he died.
