Happy SNOW DAY to me !!!
Yes...I know it's supposed to be SPRING !!! But, somehow Mother Nature doesn't seem to remember that here in Newfoundland !
So I played in my craft room all day !
This month the inspirational pictures are...
I used this picture as inspiration and recycled a jar and made a chickie jar.
I love finding creative ways to reuse everyday items, and this little chick jar was so much fun to make! I painted a recycled glass jar in a cheerful yellow and added a simple chick face to give it personality. The ribbon and button around the top add a sweet handmade touch, and the tissue paper inside makes it perfect for holding candies, small gifts, or even craft supplies.
This would make a cute spring decoration (add some daffodils) or a thoughtful handmade gift to hold some yummy Easter treats. It’s an easy project that brings a little sunshine to any space!
Materials: recycled jar, acrylic paint, Mod Podge, ribbon, button
