My layout was inspired by a quiet moment in my garden, where I captured a sweet little bee enjoying my flowers. I wanted to highlight not only the beauty of the photos but also the important role these tiny pollinators play.
To bring the theme to life, I leaned into a bold black and yellow color palette, mimicking the classic bee colors. The honeycomb patterns on either side frame the page beautifully and draw your eye right to the center, where the photos take the spotlight.
I layered the images on floral patterned paper to echo the natural setting, and added playful sentiments like “Bee Awesome” and “What’s the Buzz” to keep the layout lighthearted and fun. The angled photo placement adds movement—almost like the bee is buzzing from one flower to the next!
This page is a celebration of the little things in nature that bring so much joy—and a reminder to slow down and notice the beauty right outside our door.
Happy Crafting,

What a beautiful layout, Deanne! I love how you captured and celebrated that happy bee in your pretty photos and how you wrote up your text! You would have been an incredible editor for a stamping magazine! (As much as I love the convenience of devices, I still miss stamping magazines.) Thank you for inspiring everyone to use their NBUS! Hugs, Darnell
