A card for a Dad. Sadly, I don't have my dad physically present anymore.He died in a vehicle accident in '98. I wish I did have him here, so many times!!! But I have memories and that counts for a lot. But sometimes I just would like to have him near to hug me and kiss my forehead.

Oh, DeAnne....you made me cry. I am so sorry that you lost your dear Daddy. I was feeling sorry myself...I visited my Dad in the Nursing Home (where he now resides) in Minnesota while I was home visiting this summer. My brother and I would go and visit him, have lunch with him, etc. I felt so badly because he doesn't talk much any more, and just isn't his same humorous, happy self. But, before I left...he said, "Karen, come here. Honey, I love you", and he kissed my forehead. So....when I read your post, I began to cry. I realized that I need to be grateful that I have him in my life, and that I got to spend time with him and have those memories. He won't be around forever, and I'm so sorry you're missing your dear Dad. You made me grateful. I thank you so much for sharing this.
