Summer and sunshine were my inspiration for today's Cricut project, I created this fun beach-themed card featuring a relaxing seaside scene complete with a colorful beach umbrella, a beach ball, a good book, and someone enjoying the view. It makes me wish I was sitting on the sand with the sun shining and the waves rolling in!
This card was designed and cut with my Cricut, making it easy to create all of the layered pieces that bring the scene to life. I had fun mixing bright patterned papers with coordinating solid cardstock to give the card a cheerful, summery feel. A little glitter on the sun and umbrella handle adds just the right amount of sparkle.
I love making shaped cards, and this beach scene is perfect for sending a little sunshine to someone special. Whether it's for a summer birthday, a vacation send-off, or just to say "thinking of you," I hope this card brings a smile and reminds someone to take time to relax and enjoy life's simple pleasures.
My At the Beach card can be found at Cricut Design space.

Fabulous Cricut card - just perfect for the hot weather here in the Snippets Playground! I have a similar set of dies and to date have been too overwhelmed to try them out! Having seen your card they're now within reach on my desk!
