I got this free dollhouse and decided to make a science shelf for my daycare room. This post is picture heavy, so I apologize in advance.
This is what it looked like...
Then I began to paint it... Most is painted freehand by me. Some were done by the children. The wooden pieces (like the bats, mushrooms, bird, squirrel, rabbit) were painted by the children.
It ended up looking like this!
Here it is completed with some science materials added to it.
Here are some pictures of the insides, top and outsides painted.
I am very pleased with the end result and have gotten some nice comments on it.

Wow, stunning project! So crazy and beautiful. You and your children really did a beautiful painting. Especially all the details, the animals and plants and all the insects are done so perfectly. It's so beautiful to look at.
