Of Penguins and Polar Bears

Hey, everyone! The challenge is up at QKR STAMPEDE and it's {any winged creature}! 

My winged creature is a penguin. So sad as even though it has wings, it can't fly! Why is that? Why would an animal be given wings but not be blessed with the ability to use them to fly???

 I guess he can use them for other awesome things, such as swimming, diving and porpoising!

What other winged creature can do that, hmmm???

 Oh, and something else. Penguins and Polar Bears do not live together! The Polar Bears live in the Arctic and Penguins are in the Antarctic. But many artists place them together because they make a cute and adorable couple!! These guys do look like they are having a blast!!!
