Christmas Rock Ornaments

The new challenge at ANYTHING GOES IN A CARD FREE ZONE is "try something new OR anything goes (as long as it's not a card!)"

I made these cute little Christmas ornaments. (they are only about 1 1/2 inches wide) I bought a bag of little rocks at my dollar store and saw some ideas at Pinterest. These are the projects I made. I added paint and textured snow BEFORE I glued the rocks to the wooden pieces. I added eyes and other embellishments, like scarves. Once everything was dry, I covered it with a coat of Modge Podge and glued a string to the back.

Happy Halloween

Here's my project for Halloween. At Halloween I bought some big wall decorations for my daycare room. On the packaging there was a small picture of the wall hanging. Well, I could not let that go to waste!! I made Halloween cards out of them!!!

Sledding Snowman

I haven't sledded in YEARS (fear of breaking bones!!! haha) But I've done my share of sledding over the years!!

Here's a small snowman I built for Zoe this week! This is version 2.0 as Snowman 1.0 was quickly knocked over and destroyed by Zoe!!

Jack Frost Nipping at Your Nose
