I taught for 20 years and Valentine's Day was always a special time for me and my class because we always had so much FUN making Valentines and Valentine Boxes. I looked forward to creating a treat box my students. I'm sure this one would have been a hit! It was very easy to make and could hold quite a lot of candy sweets!!! Yum!!

Getting My Hands Dirty!!

The challenge this month at UNSTAMPABELLES is{dare to get dirty}. Create a background on your paper project using paint, glitter, ink and anything else you can think of that'll get your hands dirty!! But, remember NO STAMPS!!! (Yikes!!!) The twist, if you choose to, is to take pictures along the way while you are creating. You can see my pictures below on how I created the background on my card.

 Here's how I made the background.

Using white paint, a paper doily and a paintbrush, I created the pattern on the front of the card.

Then I used pink paint and a toothbrush and splattered the card front.

Freckle Face Love

The challenge at SCRAP IT WITH A SONG for the first 2 weeks in February is the song called {Little Things by One Direction}. I went with the whole them of the song-love.Also there's a line that talks about freckles and the image that I used has freckles on her face!
